Dear Mom,
I spoke to you on Tuesday, (you couldn't hear me as usual, but that was O.K.), but you were upbeat and sounded good, then 2 days later, you are gone. I am happy that I got to hear you sound so perky and upbeat that day, you always sounded so unhappy. You are now in a better place, at rest with GOD, as he watches over you. No more unhappiness, loneliness and miserable people around you for the most part. The few that cared, GOD Bless them.
When we saw you in June, it made you so happy that we ate with you and you kept introducing us to the ladies and the lovely girl in the dining room. That was special to you, just like it was special to us, to see you happy. You were so proud!
I am sorry that you weren't happy the last year, but my message to you was never passed to you, (that's what you get for not hearing, or not getting hearing aides sooner and wearing them)! Our doors were opened to you, as were our hearts!
I am sorry that you were so unhappy living where you didn't want to be the last year of life, but Ma, you were a trooper. I know that daddy was also a trooper, but I think when they say I am a trooper, maybe it's you I really take after. You were a trooper through all that you have been through health wise and a very STRONG woman! You always came through in the end.
As you descend into Heaven, may GOD cover you with his peace and comfort. Till I see you again, Ma.....I will miss you! I miss you already, Rest in Peace.
