Mark John Hurni

Mark John Hurni, 50, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on August 11th, 2018. Originally born in Queens, New York, Mark was raised in Brooklyn, New York, before moving to Hazlet in 1977, where he has lived since.  For many years, Mark worked as an Auto and Motorcycle Detailer.

Mark is survived by his adoring parents, Andrew and Patricia Hurni, his beloved children, Katelyn Kinneman, Alyssa Guise, Kayla Yeachshein, Mark John Hurni Jr., and Brooke Hurni, and his dear siblings, Drew Hurni, and his wife Monica, David Hurni, Laura Hurni, and Jennifer Hurni, and his granddaughter, Sophia.  He is also survived by his nieces, Andrea, Elizabeth, and Emily, his nephew, Christopher, and his loving Aunt Loretta.  Mark will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018 from 7:00 to 9:00PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of the Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday August 16, 2018 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
