Marion Halajian

Marion Halajian, 81, of Holmdel, New Jersey, passed away at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank, New Jersey on September 6, 2018. In her early years, she lived and attended school in New York. After completing her education, she met and married James A. Halajian and moved to the Jersey Shore. she was employed at Fort Monmouth for many years as an executive secretary and an education specialist. When not working, Marion loved caring for her family. In her spare time she enjoyed sewing, decorating, cooking and entertaining friends and family. Marionis survived by her loving husband, James A. Halajian, two daughters, Lisa O'Leary and Jaime Hardwick, two grandchildren, John Hardwick, Jr. and Crystal Hardwick. She is also survived by sisters, Sybil Treantas (Gus), Dorothy Mekenian (George) and a host of nephews and nieces. Marion was predeceased by her parents, Gabriel and Mary Hacherian. The family would like to acknowledge and thank her caregivers: Tara, Felicia, Monique, Anjeliqua and Florence.  Marion was deeply loved by all and will most certainly be missed but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, September 11th, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Prayer Service will be offered during visiting hours. Entombment will follow at Woodbine Cemetery Mausoleum 1264 Eatontown Boulevard, Oceanport, New Jersey 07757.
