Mario Borghese

     Mario Borghese, 68, of Brooklyn, New York, passed away suddenly on Friday, September 1, 2017.  Mario was born on April 30, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York, where he was raised and lived his entire life.  Mario had a passion for hair styling and over the years, he helped countless women feel beautiful every day while working for Scissors & Company hair salon in Bergen Beach/ Mill Basin section of Brooklyn.  Mario is survived by his loving sisters Nancy Sicca and her husband Paddy of Staten Island, New York,  Marion Viglione and her husband, Richard of Staten Island, New York, his beloved partner, Russell "Russ" Benigno, his cherished step-daughter, Danielle, and many adored nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  Mario will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, September 5, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours.  In respect of Mario's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointhfh.com.
