Marie G Woetko

   Marie G. Woetko, 84, of Brick, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, New Jersey.  She was born Marie G. Morgan on April 10,1933 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, where she grew up. After marriage, she moved to Matawan with her husband, Thomas, to raise their family.  Twenty six years ago, she settled in Howell, New Jersey. While living in Matawan in the 1960's, 70's and 80's, Marie was a cook for St. Joseph's Church in Keyport.  She also worked in their rectory, was the manager of the school Cafeteria, the president of the CYO, and a member of the Altar Rosary Society, as well as volunteering as the Bingo Caller at all of St. Joseph's bingo gatherings. One of Marie's favorite past time was playing bingo with her family and friends.

   She was predeceased by her parents, Frank and Edna (Ward) Morgan, her beloved husband, Thomas P. Woetko, and her grandson, Thomas Woetko, Jr.  Marie is survived by her loving children, Thomas Woetko of Jackson, New Jersey, Robert P. Woetko and his wife, Grace, of Howell, New Jersey, June Dahlquist of Hazlet, New Jersey, and Frank Woetko and his wife, Tina, of Ohio. She is also survived by her 18 cherished grandchildren, 14 adored great grandchildren and 2 treasured great-great grandchildren. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

    Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday evening, May 5, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning, May 6, 2017 from 9:45 to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered on Saturday morning, May 6, 2017 at 10:15 AM at the funeral home.
