Marie Campbell

Marie Campbell (DeCola), 85, of Hazlet, formerly of the Jersey City Marion Section, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 26, 2017.

Marie worked for Bell Atlantic and was the superintendent of elections for Hudson County.  She was a member of the Italian American Club in Hazlet and a devout parishioner of Holy Family Church in Union Beach.  Marie would help anyone in need and loved spending time with friends, family and especially her grandsons.

Marie was the beloved wife of the late Thomas D. Campbell; devoted mother of Jeffrey Campbell; loving grandmother of Jared and Jay Campbell; dear sister of Paul DeCola, Jr.; loving and inseparable partner of Vic "Papa" Castellano.

Visitation will be on Friday, September 1, 2017, 5:00pm to 9:00pm and Saturday, September 2, 2017, 9:00am to 9:30am at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Saturday, September 2, 2017, 10:00am at Holy Family Church, Union Beach.  Cremation is private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Holy Family Church, 727 Route 36, Union Beach, NJ 07735.
