Maria Szczuplak Holub

Maria Szczuplak Holub, 92, of Stuart, Florida, passed away at home on August 25, 2019. She was born on July 5, 1927 in the Ukraine. She came to the United States in 1949 and lived in Jersey City until she moved to Stewart, Florida. Maria was a retired manager of custodial services in New York.

Maria was predeceased by her parents and her 2 husbands, Elias Szczuplak, Walter Holub and her son, John Szczuplak. She is survived by her loving children, Roman Szczuplak and his wife Susan of New Egypt, New Jersey, Walter Szczuplak and his wife, Maureen of Hazlet, New Jersey and her step-daughter, Susan Walter and her husband, Woody of Valdosta, Georgia. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren,Michele Szczuplak, Maureen Szczuplak, Lisa Shave and her husband, Cliff, John Szczuplak and his wife Brianna and Peter Worth, along with her great granddaughter, Sabrina Szczuplak. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, August 29, 2019, from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday morning from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey. 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 10:00 AM at the Ukrainian Catholic Church of the Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary, 684 Alta Vista Place, Perth Amboy, New Jersey 08861. Interment will follow at St. Andrews Ukrainian Cemetery, 280 Main Street, South Bound Brook, New Jersey 08880.
