Margaret A Chivers

Margaret A. Chivers, 82, of Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017.  She was born Margaret A. Jones on February 7, 1935 in Scranton, PA. to Thomas and Margaret (Pugh) Jones. Margaret lived in Hoboken, New Jersey before settling in Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey. Margaret married her husband, Darwin Chivers and they have been married for 62 years. Before retirement, Margaret worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for the Bayshore Area for many years.   

She was predeceased by her parents, Thomas and Margaret (Pugh) Jones, her loving son, Mark Chivers, and her beloved brother, Thomas Jones Jr.  Margaret is survived by her devoted husband, Darwin Chivers of Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey, her loving children, Darwin and Judy Chivers of Ohio, John and Annie Chivers of North Carolina, David Chivers of Hazlet, New Jersey. She also leaves behind her daughter-in law, Ronnie Chivers of South Carolina, her sister, Betty Arscot of Scranton, PA, along with her 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Margaret will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.
