Lydia B. DiCicco

  Lydia DiCicco, 93, passed away peacefully at home on August 24, 2017.  Lydia was born in Orange, New Jersey on June 30, 1924, where she was raised and attended Orange High School, "Class of 1942."  On June 20, 1948, Lydia married her first husband, Frank P. Querques, with whom she had a daughter, Michele. Thereafter, Lydia married Patrick DiCicco in 1991 with whom she lived with in California until his death. Shortly after, Lydia moved back to New Jersey to be close to her daughter. Lydia loved to cook and care for her family, especially her three grandchildren, Danielle, Jessica and Christina. She is predeceased by her parents, Isabel (Bianco) and Anthony Babusci, her siblings, Louis and Daniel Babusci, and Elizabeth Priolo. Lydia is also survived by her sister, Eunice Saporito, and her son-in-law, Kevin Kaden. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday afternoon, August 27, 2017 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and Monday morning, August 28, 2017 from 9:15 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Prayer Service will be held at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
