Kevin A. Nemeth, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully at Bayshore Hospital on November 10th, 2019. Kevin was born on October 29th, 1954 and spent most of his life in the Bayshore area. He was a firefighter for the South Amboy Enterprise, and worked as a track supervisor for Amtrak in Sunnyside, Queens. Kevin enjoyed baseball and was a die-hard Yankees fan.
Kevin is predeceased by his parents James and Katherine Nemeth, his brothers Sam Nemeth and Robert Nemeth, his sister Renee Kotula, and his beautiful daughter Kelly Dawn Nemeth. Kevin is survived by his loving wife of 22 years Janeanne Nemeth, his brothers James Nemeth and Carl Nemeth, his four daughters, his son, and many nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends. Kevin will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Friends and family are invited to visitation on Wednesday November 13th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM and Thursday, November 14th from 8:45AM to 9:30AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A funeral mass will be held at 10:00AM on Thursday, November 14th at St. Benedict’s Church in Holmdel, NJ. In respect of Kevin’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.
