Kathryn Jane Volosin

Kathryn Jane Volosin, 82, of Gambrills, Maryland, passed away peacefully on November 15, 2019 at Anne Arundel Medical Center, Annapolis, Maryland. She was born Kathryn Sencher in South Amboy, New Jersey on February 11, 1937. In 1939 her family moved to Laurence Harbor, New Jersey.   In 1963, Kathryn moved to Sayreville, New Jersey where she raised her family.  In 2006, she moved to Gambrills, Maryland where she settled and remained. She volunteered at her local church, Our Lady of the Fields in Millersville, Maryland.  

Kathryn was predeceased by her parents Joseph and Tillie (Nagrosky) Sencher, her husband, Francis Volosin, her son, Joseph Paul Volosin, and her brother, Joseph Sencher, Jr. Kathryn is survived by her dear son Jeffrey Volosin and his wife, Julie of Crofton, Maryland, her siblings, Linda Sencher and Frank Sencher, and her cherished grandchildren, Rebecca and Joseph Volosin. She loved caring for her beloved grand-dogs, "Jackie" and "Louie".  Kathryn will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, November 22, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM and Saturday morning November 23, 2019 from 8:30 AM to 9:15 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Lawrence RC Church, 109 Laurence Parkway, Laurence Harbor, New Jersey 08879.
