Kathleen Joyce (Hassmiller) Williams

Kathleen Joyce Williams, fondly known as Joyce, 75, of Sun City Center, Florida, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, November 21, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, New Jersey.  She was born Kathleen Joyce Hassmiller on March 21, 1943 in Bayonne, New Jersey, where she grew up.  In 1971, Joyce moved to Monmouth County, New Jersey, where for many years she worked as a Teacher for Marlboro Township Board of Education.  In 2004, Joyce retired to Sun City, Florida.

She was predeceased by her parents, Richard and Caroline (O'Connor) Hassmiller, her beloved husband, Lloyd Williams, her dear brother, Richard Hassmiller, and her cherished niece, Carolyn Hassmiller.  Joyce is survived by her loving sister-in-law, Barbara Hassmiller, and her cherished nieces and nephews, Richard Hassmiller III and his wife, Danielle, Kelly Antonucci and her husband, Tom, and Robert Hassmiller, along with 6 adored great nieces and nephews.  Joyce will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, November 25, 2018 from 2:00 to 6:00 PM and Monday morning, November 26, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:15 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Sunday evening during visitation hours.  Interment will follow visitation on Monday morning at approximately 11:45 AM at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Highway/Route 35, Middletown, New Jersey 07701.  In lieu of flowers, donations in loving memory of Joyce to the Carolyn Theresa Hassmiller Scholarship at Georgian Court University, Office of Institutional Advancement, 900 Lakewood Avenue, Lakewood, New Jersey 08701, Attention: Meghan Rehbein, would be greatly appreciated.
