Joyce A. Clark

Joyce A. Clark, 85, of Holmdel New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, June 2, 2017.  She was born Joyce A. Clark on June 15,1931 in Keyport, New Jersey. In the early 1960's she moved to Holmdel, New Jersey.  Joyce attended Keyport High School, class of 1948 and worked for a year before entering college.Joyce attended Western Maryland College, class of 1953, now known as McDaniel College and obtained her college degree. She received her Masters Degree from New York University. Joyce worked as an Educator, she was a teacher, who taught 7th graders, a Principle and the Director of Curriculum of the Hazlet Township School System before her retirement. She was predeceased by her parents, Myron and Willdora (Truex) Clark and her sister, Shirley J. Foster. She is also survived by Judy and Ralph Evans, who she loved like a daughter and Judy's children and great grandchildren, who Joyce referred to as her grandchildren and great grandchildren. They all called her "Grandma Joyce". Their names are as follows, Daniel (Mary Kate), Timothy (Joanna), Thomas (Alicia), Caitlyn, Kylie, TJ, Cooper and Christopher. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, Randall (Georgia), Cheryl (Jerry), Susan (Mark) and Robert (Amy). Joyce will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
