Joseph R. Gavini

Joseph R. Gavini, 73, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on July 22, 2019. He was born on September 23, 1945 in Newark, New Jersey where he grew up. In 1962 he moved to Kearny, New Jersey and in 1977 settled in Hazlet, New Jersey where he raised  his family.  Joseph was predeceased by his parents Arnold and Marie Fairchild Gavini and his dear brothers Arnold and William Gavini. Joseph was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force during the Vietnam era. He is survived by his beloved wife of 49 years Karen Delpome Gavini, his loving children Joseph Gavini and wife Jessica of Middletown, New Jersey, Gina Gavini of Holmdel, New Jersey and his cherished grandchildren Jordyn and Brianna Gavini.   Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, July 26, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM,  at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. In respect of Joseph's wishes he will be privately cremated.   In Lieu of flowers donations to the wounded Warrior's in his memory would be appreciated https://www.woundedwarriorproject.org.
