Joseph Justin Coghan

    Joseph Justin Coghan, 28, of Old Bridge, New Jersey, passed away suddenly on Saturday, September 16, 2017.  Joseph was born on April 22, 1989 in Perth Amboy, New Jersey and grew up in Carteret and Old Bridge, New Jersey.  He was currently working in the Construction and Landscaping industries.  Joseph's family described him as having a heart of gold, and was loved by all who knew him.  He was always willing to lend a helping hand to his family and friends, with no questions asked, even if it wasn't expected of him.  Joseph loved spending time with his brothers, and absolutely adored his nieces and nephews and always cherished his moments spent with them .  He also enjoyed playing basketball, and was an avid New York Jets fan.

    Joseph is survived by his beloved mother, Debra L. Coghan of Keyport, New Jersey, his loving father, Thomas Michael Coghan, his dear brothers, Thomas J. Coghan and his wife, Amanda, of Carteret, New Jersey, Matthew Coghan and his wife, Samaria, of Old Bridge, New Jersey, and Timothy Coghan and his wife, Kiara, of Old Bridge, New Jersey, along with his cherished nieces and nephews, Thomas, Alyssa, Dylan, Saria, Matteo, Timmy Jr., Tristan, and Kirianna.  He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, September 22, 2017 from 5:00 to 9:00 PM and Saturday morning, September 23, 2017 from 10:00 to 10:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  Entombment will follow Saturday morning's visitation hours at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07730.  In lieu of flowers, donations to assist the Coghan family during this difficult time would be greatly appreciated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
