Carlucci, 73, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, September 22, 2017. Joseph was born on December 11, 1943 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he grew up. On October 23, 1965, Joseph and his wife, Marie, were married in Bayonne, New Jersey, where they started their life together and raised their family. Seventeen years ago they settled in Keyport, New Jersey. Before retirement, Joseph worked as a Limousine driver for Joe's Limo in Roselle, New Jersey. He was also a proud United States Army Veteran.
He was predeceased by his parents, Robert and Helen (Lazarczyk) Carlucci, his beloved son, Joseph J. Carlucci, and his siblings, Robert Carlucci, Michael Carlucci, Helen Meehan, and James Carlucci. Joseph is survived by his devoted wife of nearly 52 years, Marie F. (Williams) Carlucci, his loving daughters, Dawn Marie Carlucci of Keyport, New Jersey, and Theresa A. Carlucci and her fiancé, Brian Heckelmann, of Keyport, New Jersey, his dear siblings, Richard Carlucci, Joan Comes, Rosalie Carlucci, and Donna McCurdy, and his cherished grandchildren, Michael R. McAuliffe, Danielle Marie Garcia, and Jared Garcia, along with many adored nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Joseph will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
In respect of his wishes, Joseph will be privately cremated. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial visitation on Wednesday, September 27, 2017 from 5:00 to 7:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours. Interment of Joseph's cremains will take place on Friday, September 29, 2017 at 1:30 PM at Brigadier General William C.
