John C. Lacari, Jr., 70, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Monday, July 8, 2019 at University of Pennsylvania Medical Center. John was born on March 11, 1949 in Brooklyn, New York. In 1991, he moved to Union Beach, New Jersey where he remained. He was a Lineman for AT&T, New York, New York for many years before retirement. After retirement, John worked as a Parking Enforcer for the Union Beach Police Department for 10 years. John was also a proud honored United States Army Veteran who served our country during the Vietnam Era. John was predeceased by his parents, Emily (Johnson) and John C. Lacari, Sr. and his sister, Lorraine D’Antonio. He is survived by his loving and devoted wife, Deborah “Debbie” (Rowland) Lacari, his cherished daughter, Noelle Rodriguez and her husband, Tony of Brooklyn, New York, his dear siblings, Maryann Dunn of Pennsylvania, Joanne Hines and her husband, Jerry of South Carolina, and his treasured grandchildren, John and Jason Rodriguez. John will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, July 11, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Friday morning, July 12, 2019 from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Friday morning, July 12, 2019 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.
