Joanne M. Fromm

Joanne M. Fromm, 71, of Morganville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at Bayshore Hospital, Holmdel, New Jersey surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, September 1, 2019. Joanne was born on May 12, 1948 in Manhattan, New York. She  lived in Brooklyn, New York and later resided in Staten Island, New York for 36 years before settling in Morganville, New Jersey where she remained. Joanne worked as a Bursar at St. John’s University, Staten Island, New York for many years before retirement. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends and was loved by all.

Joanne was predeceased by her parents, Catherine (McCarthy) and Francis Townsend. She is survived by her beloved and devoted husband, Robert S. Fromm, and her dear and loving children, Barbara A. Kager and her husband, Matthew, Susan Chodakiewicz and her husband, Thomas, and her cherished and adored grandson, Matthew S. Kager. Joanne will be deeply missed, always cherished, and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, September 4, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning, 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday morning, September 5, 2019 at 10:00 AM at St. Benedict R.C. Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Pinelawn Road and Wellwood Avenue, East Farmingdale, New York 11735.
