Jeanne M. (Clemente) Hillan

Jeanne M. Hillan, 95, of Manalapan, New Jersey, passed away at home peacefully surrounded by her loving family on August 10, 2019. She was born Jeanne M. Clemente on August 26, 1923 in Brooklyn, New York. Born in Brooklyn, New York she lived there until she moved to Ozone Park, Queens, New York in 1966.  She then settled in Monroe Township, New Jersey in 2000 and in 2016 to Manalapan, New Jersey. 

Jeanne was a consummate lady, always dignified and polite to others.  She was great company, so entertaining, funny and wise. She was an amazing cook and had impeccable taste in fashion, interior design and music.  In her youth, she loved to Lindy. She loved her coffee, cats, the old classic movies (especially Bette Davis), and British television.  Sunday nights with Masterpiece Theatre was a tradition.

Most of all, Jeanne loved and lived for her family.  She was a fierce guardian of her daughters and grandchildren.  She will be forever missed and forever in our hearts.

Jeanne was predeceased by her parents Vincent and Lucia Loglisci Clemente, and her beloved husband, Bernard J. Hillan.  She is survived by her loving children Joanne Malandrino and her husband Philip of Marlboro, New Jersey, Jeanne M. Carozza and her husband Anthony of Connecticut, a dear sister, Anne Clemente and her cherished grandchildren, Christian Gaglio, Stephanie Carozza and David Carozza. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten. 

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, August 14, 2019, from 8:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey. 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Wednesday, August 14, 2019 at 10:30 AM at St. Gabriel Historic Church, 549 County Road 520, Marlboro, New Jersey 07746.  Entombment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Park Cemetery, Route 79, Marlboro, New Jersey 07746.
