James J. Meyer

James J. Meyer, 56, of Middletown, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by his loving family on Friday, December 29, 2017.  James was born on April 18, 1961 in Jersey City, New Jersey, and grew up in Middletown, New Jersey, where he was presently living with his loving sister, Laura.  He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Robert and Ann Rose (Becker) Meyer, and his dear brother, Robert "Hawk" Meyer.  James is survived by his loving siblings, Steven Meyer and his wife, Frances, of Gaffney, South Carolina, and Laura Russo-Kay and her husband, Mitchell Brandshagen, of Middletown, New Jersey, his cherished nieces and nephews, Kayla Russo, Stephanie Meyer, Steven Meyer Jr., Daniel Kay, and John Brandshagen, and two adored great nieces and nephews.  James will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, January 2, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours.  In respect of James' wishes, he will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
