Irene M. (Post) Bailey

Irene M. Bailey, 89 of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on August 10, 2018.  She was born Irene M. Post on May 18, 1929 in Elizabeth, New Jersey. In 1940 she moved to Keyport, New Jersey and in 1975 she settled in Union Beach, New Jersey.  Irene was predeceased by her parents William and Irene Waynewright Post.  She is survived by her beloved husband of 43 years Stephen Bailey Jr, her loving nieces and nephews David Bailey and his wife, Sue, Albert Babbel and his wife, Vernie, Michael Babbel and his wife, Heather,  Agnes Hesse and her husband, Don, Harriet Tate and her husband, John, and Stephanie Babbel, and her cherished great nieces and nephews Joshua Babbel and his wife, Alyssa, Cory Hesse, DJ Hesse, Kayla Ann Tate, Brandon James Tate, and Jacob Babbel along with many other extended family members and friends. She will be sadly missed and always remembered.  Family and friends are invited to visit on August 13, 2018, Monday evening form 7:00 to 9:00 PM with services during the visitation hours. There will also be a visitation on Tuesday morning from 10:15 to 11:00 AM followed by a private interment at Shoreland Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Hazlet, New Jersey.
