Guido DiGiallonardo of Aberdeen, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on October 19, 2019. He was born in Cansano Abruzzi, Italy, on September 12th , 1939. Guido moved to Canada in 1956 and lived there before coming to the United States in 1969 where he settled in Brooklyn New York. In 1986, Guido and his family relocated to Staten Island, New York, and eventually settled in Aberdeen, New Jersey, in 2000. He was a printer for the Halstead Corporation in Cranbury, NJ.
Guido is predeceased by his siblings Filomena Rammuno, Giovanni DiGiallonardo, and Carmela DiGregorio. He is survived by his beloved wife of 53 years, Vera (Noto) DiGiallonardo, his loving children Angela Klopsis and husband Christopher of Aberdeen, and Vincent DiGiallonardo and his fiance Joanne Jordan, his siblings Donato DiGiallonardo, Elena Pace, Nicolina DiGuilio and her husband Antonio, and his cherished grandchildren Gabriella Klopsis and Vincent DiGiallonardo. Guido will be sadly missed , but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, October 21, 2019 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM, and Tuesday morning October 22, 2019 from 8:45 AM to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Benedict’s Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, NJ, 07733 at 10:00 AM.
