George Augusto Lee

George Augusto Lee, 78, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at his residence in Hazlet, New Jersey. George was born on February 6, 1940 in Colon, Panama. In 1962 he lived in Brooklyn, New York, before settling in Hazlet in 1972 with his family. He was a Business Manager for H&R Block in Perth Amboy for many years. He was a member of a spiritual group called Eckankar of Freehold, New Jersey.

He was predeceased by his parents, George A. Lee and Benilda Gomez. George is survived by his beloved wife, Rosa Lee of Hazlet, New Jersey, his loving children, Zoraya E. Lee-Hamlin and her husband, Raymond L. Hamlin of West Orange, New Jersey and Yadira I. Lee of Scotland, his dear siblings, Donaldo Lee, Olivia Lee, Judith Lee, Niera McManus, Amelia Barakat, Federico Madera and Tita Camano. George also leaves behind his cherished grandchildren, Ivelisse, Christina, Gabriela, Raymond, Asia and his great grandchild, Raquel. He is also survived by many extended family members. George will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, July 31, 2018 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will take place during the visiting hours on Tuesday.
