George Burrell

George Burrell, 84, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, December 2, 2018 at Madison Center in Matawan, New Jersey.  George was born on September 6, 1934 in Lancaster County, Virginia, where he spent the beginning part of his life.  Later in life, George raised his family in New Jersey.  Before retirement, George worked as a Truck Driver for a company in Matawan for many years and he was also a proud United States Army Veteran.

George is predeceased by his parents, Georgie and Mary (Morgan) Burrell and 4 dear siblings.  He is survived by his loving children, Pamela Barksdale and her husband, Ralph of Matawan, New Jersey, and Reggie Burrell of Virginia, along with his 3 cherished grandchildren and 2 adored great grandchildren.  George will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
