Eugene Matrejek

Eugene Matrejek, 68, passed away peacefully at Bayshore Community Hospital, Holmdel, New Jersey on Monday, October 7, 2019. Eugene was born on July 6, 1951 in Newark, New Jersey. He grew up in Union Beach, New Jersey before settling in Hazlet, New Jersey where he remained.  He worked for many years as a “Tool and Die Cutter” for Seals Eastern Inc. of Red Bank, New Jersey before retirement.

Eugene was predeceased by his parents Dorothy (Sobka) and Eugene Matrejek. He is survived by beloved wife, Frances Ramon, his loving daughter Melanie Pati of Florida, and his dear sister Diane Maffey. Eugene will be greatly missed and never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited visit on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered during visitation hours.  In respect to Eugene’s wishes, he will be privately cremated.
