Dominick L Amodeo

Dominick L. Amodeo, 73, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by his loving family on Friday, July 5, 2019 at Robert Wood Johnson University Medical Center in New Brunswick, New Jersey. Dominick was born on May 6, 1946 in Brooklyn, New York. He was a Senior Graphic Technician with National Grid in New York before he retired. He was also an honored veteran of the United States Air Force. He was predeceased by his father, Frank Amodeo. Dominick is survived by his devoted and cherished wife, Jean (Danielle) Amodeo, his loving children, Frank and his wife, Victoria, Danielle Richardson and her husband, Julian, his caring mother, Julia (Bocchino) Amodeo and his dear brothers, Frank Amodeo and Thomas Amodeo and his wife, Annette and his cherished grandchildren, Jiavanna Richardson and Francis Amodeo. Dominick will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, July 9, 2019 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning, July 10, 2019 from 8:15 AM to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Wednesday morning, July 10, 2019 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735. In respect of Dominick's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Dominick’s memory to the wounded warriors project.
