Daniel E. Tepper

Daniel E. Tepper, 88, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Monday, November 26, 2018 at his residence in Hazlet, New Jersey.  Daniel was born on June 8, 1930 in  the Bronx, New York, where he grew up.  On August 3, 1957 Daniel married his wife Kathleen and in 1966 moved to Hazlet, New Jersey where they raised their family. Before retirement, Daniel worked as an Operation Engineer.  He was also a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, having served our country during the Korean War.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Mary (Byrnes) Tepper.  Daniel is survived by his beloved wife, Kathleen (nee: Cahill), his loving children, Daniel E. Tepper and his wife, Susan of Nazareth, PA, James F. Tepper and his wife, Shirley of Rolesville, North Carolina, Kathleen O’Connor of Toms River, New Jersey, Susan Macchia and her husband, James of Belford, New Jersey and Laura Connor and her husband, Greg of Hazlet, New Jersey, his dear siblings, Paul Tepper of Monroe, New York and Edna Petrosino of Old Bridge, New Jersey along with his cherished grandchildren, Danielle, Allison, Megan, Ryan, Kyle, Amanda, Jeremy, Erin and Mia. Daniel will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, November 29, 2018 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home at 11:45 AM on Thursday morning.
