Conchetta (Mocci) Devino

Conchetta Devino, 92, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, February 10, 2018 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Conchetta Mocci on June 10, 1925 in Hazlet on her family farm, where she grew up.  After marrying her husband, Frank Devino, they remained in Hazlet where they raised their family.  Conchetta was a life-long member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church in Keyport, New Jersey, and was also a member of the Hazlet Italian American Club and the Oak Shades Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary.  

She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Emily (Nunziata) Mocci, her beloved husband, Frank Devino, and 6 brothers and sisters.  Conchetta is survived by her loving children, Frank Devino and his partner, Diane Bulmer, of Hazlet, New Jersey, Robert Devino and his wife, Kathleen, of Holmdel, New Jersey, Dennis Devino and his wife, Elizabeth, of Jersey City, New Jersey, and Thomas Devino and his wife, Kathleen, of Keyport, New Jersey, and two dear siblings.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Laurie Devino and her partner, Weena Perry, Frank Devino and his wife, Tracy, Marc Devino and his wife, Doreen, Justina Hill and her husband, Greg, Amber Kornett and her husband, Chad, Amanda, Victoria, Christopher, Michaela, and Michael Devino, and her adored great grandchildren, Gabriella, Nate, and Ella Devino, and River Kornett, along with many treasured nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  Conchetta will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 10:00 PM and Thursday morning, February 15, 2018 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday morning, February 15, 2018 at 10:30 AM at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 376 Maple Place, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  Entombment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery Mausoleum, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.  In loving memory of Conchetta, donations can be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, www.stjude.org.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
