Concetta (Santangelo) Dispoto

Concetta Dispoto, 88, of Port Monmouth, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 16, 2019 at Care One King James in Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey.  She was born Concetta Santangelo on March 15, 1930 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where she was raised and met her husband, Thomas.  On April 26, 1952, Concetta and Thomas were married and began their lives together in Jersey City, where they raised their family, until 1993 when they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey.  Before retirement, Concetta worked as a Nurse's Aid for many years at Medical Center in Jersey City.

She was predeceased by her parents, Caesar and Angelina (Macione) Santangelo, her beloved husband, Thomas Dispoto, and her dear siblings, James Santangelo, Dominick Santangelo and Millie Tardibuono.  Concetta is survived by her loving children, Mary Ann Mooney and her husband, Duane, of California, Angela Belasco and her husband, Joseph, of Hazlet, New Jersey, and Vincent Dispoto and his wife, Beverly, of Forked River, New Jersey, along with her adoring sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Rosalie Perkins and Raymond Dispoto, and many cherished grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.  Concetta will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Concetta's wishes, she will be privately cremated and her remains will be entombed with her beloved husband, Thomas, at St. Joseph Cemetery in Keyport, New Jersey.  For information or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
