Bharat C. Achrekar

Bharat C. Achrekar, 61, of Aberdeen, passed away, on Wednesday, June 13th, 2018 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. Born in Mumbai, India, he moved to Queens, New York in 1980 and in 1982 relocated to Manhattan, New York. On June 23, 1985, Bharat and his wife, Hamewattie, were married and shortly after started their lives together in Old Bridge, New Jersey.  In 1996, they moved to Marlboro, New Jersey before recently settling in Aberdeen, New Jersey in 2016.   Bharat was a salesman for All American Subaru in Old Bridge, New Jersey for many years.  

Bharat is survived by his beloved wife, Hamewattie (Persaud) Achrekar, his loving parents, Chandrakant and Vilasini (Walawalkar) Achrekar, his adored children, Vijay B. Achrekar and his wife, Varsha, and Sunil B. Achrekar, his dear siblings, Smita D'Souza and her husband, Lionel, of Mt. Pleasant, South Carolina, Vandana Mathure and her husband, Milind of Tampa, Florida, and Manoj Achrekar and his wife, Archana, of Gilbert, Arizona. Bharat will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, June 15, 2018 from 6:00 to 10:00 PM and Saturday morning, June 16, 2018 from 8:15 to 9:00  AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A service will be offered on Saturday morning, June 16, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Liberty Grove Memorial Gardens Crematory, 549 Morristown Road, Old Bridge, New Jersey 08857.
