Barbara Ann Sansevere

Barbara Ann Sansevere, 81, presently of Hillsborough, formerly of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday evening, January 9, 2019 at Bridgeway Care Center.  She was born Barbara Tiehm on May 23, 1937 in Manhattan, New York and grew up in Jersey City, New Jersey.  In 1961, Barbara settled in Hazlet, New Jersey where she raised her family.  She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Frances (Arasin) Tiehm and her beloved husband, Michael J. Sansevere.  Barbara is survived by her loving children, Michael Sansevere and his wife, Cathy, of Ocean Township, New Jersey, Michele Sysyn and her husband, Bill, of Forked River, New Jersey, Dr. Joseph Sansevere and his wife, Carolyn, of Whitehouse Station, New Jersey, and Maryjane Medea and her husband, Michael, of Califon, New Jersey, and her dear brother, John Tiehm.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Dr. Keri Sansevere, Dr. Robert Sansevere, Matthew Sansevere, Megan Sansevere, Mary Sysyn, Jonathan Sysyn, Gwyneth Medea, Grace Medea, and Gabriella Medea.  Barbara will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, January 11, 2019 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Saturday morning, January 12, 2019 from 8:15 to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Saturday morning, January 12, 2019 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.  Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, 360 Broadway, Keyport, New Jersey 07735.
