Anna Greco

Anna Greco, 94, presently of Manalapan, New Jersey, formerly of Lincroft, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Friday, November 3, 2017.  She was born Anna Cincinnati, on December 29, 1922, in Aiello Calabro in the province of Cosenza, Italy, where she also grew up and married her husband, Fausto Greco.  In 1963, they immigrated to the United States and began their new life in North Bergen, New Jersey, where they raised their family.  In 2000, Anna settled in Lincroft, New Jersey.

She was predeceased by her parents, James and Bessie (Petrowski) Cincinnati, and her beloved and devoted husband, Fausto Greco.  Anna is survived by her loving children, Ann Pettineo and her husband, Charles, of North Carolina, Silvana Greco of Bridgewater, New Jersey, Flo D'Elia and her husband, Vincent, of Colts Neck, New Jersey, and Frank Greco and his wife, Denise, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, along with her cherished grandchildren, Gabrielle Pettineo, Amanda Pettineo, Jessica D'Elia, Matthew Pettineo, Jeffrey D'Elia, and Nicholas Greco. 

Even though Anna embraced American culture, she integrated her Italian roots in daily life through her generous spirit, her love of cooking and hosting family gatherings.  Anna will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, November 9, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Friday morning, November 10, 2017 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday morning, November 10, 2017 at 10:15 AM at St. Leo the Great Church, 50 Hurley's Lane, Lincroft, New Jersey 07738.  Entombment will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 500 Fairview Avenue, Fairview, New Jersey 07022.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
