Angelo Mancini

Angelo Mancini, 82, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Care One in Holmdel.  Angelo was born on January 25, 1936 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he grew up.  On  May 30, 1977 Angelo and his wife, Maureen, were married and began their lives together in Hazlet.  Before retirement, Angelo worked for Johnston and Murphy Company as a Manager for many years.  He was also a proud Veteran of the United States Navy, having served our country during the Korean War.

He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Rosaria (Tamigi) Mancini.  Angelo is survived by his beloved wife, Maureen, his loving children, John and his wife, Peggy of Middletown, New Jersey, Chris and his wife, Rosemarie of Eatontown, New Jersey, Nicole of Bedminster, New Jersey, Peter of Freehold, New Jersey, Angela of Spotswood, New Jersey, Michelle of Hazlet, New Jersey, and Bernadette  of South Carolina, along with 10 cherished grandchildren and 8 adored great grandchildren, with his most recent great grandchild carrying his namesake, John Angelo.  Angelo will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday, November 27, 2018 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM and Wednesday morning, November 28, 2018 from 9:00 to 9:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday morning, November 28, 2018 at 10:30 AM at The Church of Catherine Laboure, 110 Bray Avenue, North Middletown, New Jersey 07748.  Entombment will follow at Fair View Cemetery, 456 State Highway 35, Middletown, New Jersey 07701.
