William Yarbrough, Sr.

William Yarbrough Sr., 91 , of Matawan, New Jersey, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2018. William was born on November 21, 1926 in North Carolina. Before his retirement, he worked as a fork lift operator for Celtex Building Materials in Perth Amboy, New Jersey. 

He was predeceased by his parents, Charlie and Rother (Williams) Yarbrough, his beloved wife, Maggie (Bowman) Yarbrough and his daughter, Maryland Yarbrough. William is survived by his children, Magaro Anne Nitkson of Jersey City, New Jersey, Gwendelyn Anthony of Keansburg, New Jersey, William Yarbrough of Morganville, New Jersey, Thaddeous Yarbrough of Lakewood, New Jersey, Derek Yarbrough of Jackson, New Jersey and Sandy Flakes of Keyport, New Jersey. William is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren, and 11 great-great grandchildren. William will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday, February 9, 2018 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A service will be offered on Friday during the visiting hours at the funeral home.
