Samuel Zullo Jr.

    Samuel Zullo Jr., 73, passed away suddenly on, June 13, 2017 at his residence.  Samuel was born on May 15,1944 in Newark, New Jersey to Samuel and Lena (DeNicola) Zullo.  Sam lived in Middletown and Hazlet before settling in Union Beach two years ago.  He was a Custodian for the Matawan School System for the last 5 years.  

    He was predeceased by his father, Samuel Zullo Sr.  Sam is survived by his beloved wife, Ann (Hickey) Zullo, his devoted mother, Lena Zullo, his loving children, Richard Zullo, Dawn Lupino and her husband, Christopher, and Kim Zullo, his dear brothers, Richard and his wife, Judy, Anthony, Gerald, Michael, Patrick "Pat" and his wife, Doreen, and Joseph Zullo, and his cherished sisters, Nancy Moran and her husband, Gene, Michelle Scicluna and her husband, Ed, and Trisha Bresnahan and her husband, Barry.  He is also survived by his adoring grandchildren, Matthew Lupino and his wife, Amanda, Samantha Lupino, and Nicholas Zullo, and his treasured great granddaughter, Angelina Lupino, along with a host of loving nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Sam will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

    Family and friends are invited to visit on Friday evening, June 16, 2017 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Friday evening during visitation hours.
