Rose M (Pudlak) Ladny

        Rose M. Ladny, 97, of Port Monmouth, New Jersey passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey. She was born Rose M. Pudlak on January 23, 1919 in Elizabeth, New Jersey, where she also grew up.  She met her husband, Edmund Ladny in Bayonne, New Jersey. On December 31, 1948, Rose and Edmund were married and began their lives together in Bayonne, where they also raised their family.  In 2009, Rose settled in Port Monmouth, New Jersey, with her daughter, Patricia.  Some of Rose's favorite hobbies were playing Bingo with friends, and reading. She was also a huge fan of the New York Yankees. Rose loved to spend time with her family, especially her great grandchildren, Jackson and Maximus.  

       She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Edmund F. Ladny, her parents, Joseph and Clara (Mastel) Pudlak, and her siblings, Albert Pudlak, Caroline Zimmerman, and John Pudlak. Rose is survived by her loving daughter, Patricia Ladny-Chadwick and her husband, Peter, of Port Monmouth, New Jersey; her dear sisters, Genevieve Trela, Josephine Trabacchino, and Stephanie Eggars; her cherished granddaughter, Jennifer Jantas and her husband, Joshua, of Metuchen, New Jersey; her adored great grandsons, Jackson and Maximus, along with many special nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great great nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten. 

        Family and friends are invited to visit on Sunday, June 12, 2016 from 3:00 to 6:00 PM, and Monday morning, June 13, 2016 from 8:45 to 9:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 3269 State Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday morning, June 13, 2016 at 10:30 AM, at Saint Agnes Catholic Church, 103 Center Avenue, Atlantic Highlands, New Jersey 07716. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, US Highway 1, Woodbridge, New Jersey 07095.
