Rose Coppolino

    Rose Coppolino, 91, of Manchester, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 26, 2017 at Jersey Shore Medical Center in Neptune, New Jersey.  She was born Rose Scibilia on August 18, 1925 in Manhattan, New York, and grew up on the Lower East Side.  On January 18, 1947, Rose and her husband, Salvatore Coppolino, were married and began their life together in Brooklyn, New York, where they remained to raise their family.  While living in New York, Rose worked for New York Life as an underwriter; she was currently retired.  Approximately 30 years ago, she settled in Manchester, New Jersey.

    She was predeceased by her parents, Joseph and Jacqueline (Corona) Scibilia, her beloved and devoted husband, Salvatore N. Coppolino, and her dear brother, Peter Scibilia.  Rose is survived by her loving sons, Dennis Coppolino and his wife, Laura, of Staten Island, New York, and Richard Coppolino and his wife, Joann, of Holmdel, New Jersey, along with her cherished grandchildren, Corinne Orlando and her husband, Chad, Stephen Coppolino and his wife, Soraya, Jennifer Coppolino, Richard Coppolino and Kristina Coppolino, and her adored great grandchildren, Giuliana Orlando, Sofia Orlando, and Olivia Coppolino.  She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

    Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, June 29, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM and Friday morning, June 30, 2017 from 7:45 to 8:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 9:15 AM at St. Catharine's Roman Catholic Church, 108 Middletown Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
