Rosalie (Annibale) Cassati

Rosalie Cassati, 86, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank, New Jersey.  She was born Roaslie Annibale on May 10, 1931 in Staten Island, New York, where she was raised.  On June 3, 1951, Rosalie and her husband, Salvatore, were married and began their lives together in Staten Island, where they also raised their family.  In 1996, they settled in Aberdeen, New Jersey.  For a few years Rosalie worked for Metropolitan Life Insurance Company; however, her favorite "job" was taking care of her loving family.  She was a devoted wife, loving mother, and adoring grandmother and great grandmother, and her family was her absolute pride and joy.

She was predeceased by her parents, Antonio and Camelia (DeSantis) Annibale, and her dear siblings, Michael, Dominic "Mimi", Carl, Tessie, and DeDe.  Rosalie is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 66 years, Salvatore Cassati, her loving daughters, Lisa Frye of Aberdeen, New Jersey, Lydia Sottile and her husband, Thomas, of Holmdel, New Jersey, and Laura Larsen-Wells and her husband, Stephen, of Aberdeen, New Jersey, and her dear siblings, Ralph, Jessie, and Estelle.  Rosalie is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Leslie, Richie, Eric, Tom, Lauren, James, and Lyndsey, and her adored great grandchildren, Morrison, Gavin, and Chloe.  Rosalie will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

In respect of Rosalie's wishes, there will be a private family viewing.  Family and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday morning, December 6, 2017 at 10:30 AM at St. Clement Roman Catholic Church, 172 Freneau Avenue, Matawan, New Jersey 07747.  Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
