Rob & I have been talking about Our Dad & Uncle Herbie. Rob has the letter that your dad wrote to our father before passing. It brought me to tears after he read it yet again to me.

Bob was one of my most cherished Navy buddies. He was indeed a wonderful friend and I will miss him greatly. I spent many great times with him and his family who welcomed me into their home for really great meals and friendship. He was one of a kind---great. Don Preuss
