Robert C. Emslie

     Robert C. Emslie, 55, of Old Bridge, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  Robert was born on August 26, 1962 in Red Bank, New Jersey, and grew up in Hazlet, New Jersey.  On February 15, 1985, Robert and his wife, Jennifer, were married and began their life together in Hazlet.  In 1991, they settled in Old Bridge, New Jersey to raise their family.  Throughout his life, he worked as a stone setter with Local #84 Masonry Union in Manhattan, New York.  

     He was predeceased by his father, Charles Emslie, his beloved son, Robert C. Emslie II, and his brother-in-law, Dominic Carinha.  Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Jennifer Emslie, his adoring mother, Madeline Valenti, his loving daughters, Jennifer D. Emslie, Nicole Emslie, and Kimberly Emslie, and his dear siblings, Debby Fitzpatrick and her husband, Greg, Charles Emslie and his wife, Nettie, and Madeline Carinha, along with many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.  Robert will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Family and friends are invited to visit on Monday, September 4, 2017 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home during visitation hours.  In respect of Robert's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
