Patricia (Raczynski) Benkovich

     Patricia Benkovich, 65, of Keyport, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 21, 2017 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel, New Jersey.  She was born Patricia Raczynski on September 23, 1951 in Elizabeth, New Jersey and grew up in Kearny, New Jersey.  On May 28, 1971, she and her husband, Peter, were married and began their life together in Elizabeth, New Jersey, and raised their family in Hillside, New Jersey.  In 1997, they settled in Keyport, New Jersey.  

     She was predeceased by her parents, Theodore and Frances Raczynski, and her siblings, Carol, Linda, and Robert.  Patricia is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 46 years, Peter Benkovich, her loving children, Denise Longo and her husband, Donald, of Keyport, New Jersey, Dawn Rodriguez and her husband, Carlos, of Coral Springs, Florida, and Peter Benkovich Jr., and his long-time girlfriend, Erin Tumaliuan, of Cliffwood Beach, New Jersey, and her dear brothers, James and Ronald.  Patricia is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Donny Longo, Anthony Longo, Adam Benkovich, Jonathan Rodriguez, Caleb Benkovich, and Carlos Rodriguez, along with her treasured "fur baby", Sandy, and many adoring nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  Patricia will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Family and friends are invited to visit on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A prayer service will be offered at the funeral home on Saturday evening during visitation hours.  In respect of Patricia's wishes, she will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
