Neil E. Dello Stritto

Neil E. Dello Stritto, 86, of Hazlet, New Jersey, passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday, February 4, 2018.  Neil was born on June 24, 1931 in Hoboken, New Jersey, where he grew up.  In 1958, Neil moved to Jersey City, New Jersey, where he raised his family with his wife, Rita, and in 1995, they settled in Hazlet, New Jersey.  Before retirement, Neil worked for Trans Con in Queens, New York as a truck driver for many years.  He was also a proud Veteran of the United States Navy.  

He was predeceased by his parents, Andrew and Louise (Cox) Dello Stritto and his beloved wife, Rita (Grogan) Dello Stritto.  Neil is survived by his loving children, Kathleen D. Amendola and her husband, Steven, of Hazlet, New Jersey and Neil Dello Stritto Jr. and his wife, Lisa, of Fair Lawn, New Jersey, his dear siblings, Marylu Youngclaus, Andrew Dello Stritto, Ann Meyer and her husband, Herb, Edward Dello Stritto and his wife, Emma, and Paul Dello Stritto and his wife, Joyce, along with his cherished grandchildren, Freddie Mesina, Michael Simone, Kristina Amendola, Jessica Dello Stritto, Steven Amendola, and Anthony Dello Stritto, and his adored great grandchildren, Madison, Chase, and Emerson.  Neil will be greatly missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning, February 8, 2018 from 8:15 to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Thursday morning, February 8, 2018 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Roman Catholic Church, 727 Highway 36, Union Beach, New Jersey 07735.  In respect of Neil's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
