So many cherished memories of Mario when we lived on Shore Pkwy. He took care of my sister Barbara & I like we were his own family. So saddened to learn he was taken so soon. He has been & will forever be in my heart. I know you are reunited with your loving Mother. May you both Rest in Peace.

Hi Russ,
It's Betty's daughter, Karen.
While I never had the pleasure of meeting Mario I still feel like I know you both as my mother spoke of you very often.
You hit the nail on the head with: "he helped countless women feel beautiful . . . " my mother was one of them and she loved him very much and is now heartsick for you. I know to the end of her days I will hear: "No one does my hair like Mario".
As you know she is away so I wanted to take the time to pass on both of our sincerest sympathies to you and all of his loved ones.
