January 11, 1964 ~ July 2, 2017 (age 53) 53 Years OldLisa A. Svenson, 53, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, July 2, 2017 at Meridian at Shrewsbury, Shrewsbury, New Jersey. She was born Lisa A. Donatelli on January 11, 1964 to Marc and Sheila (Houlihan) Donatelli in Long Branch, New Jersey, and grew up in Keyport, New Jersey. On November 2, 1985, Lisa married her husband, Harry W. Svenson, Jr. at St. Joseph's Methodist Church in Keyport, New Jersey. After marrying, they settled in Union Beach to raise their family. Lisa was a devoted mother and wife.
She was predeceased by her parents, Marc and Sheila (Houlihan) Donatelli, and her mother-in-law, Elizabeth "Betty" Svenson. Lisa is survived by her devoted husband, Harry W. Svenson, Jr. of Union Beach, New Jersey, her loving children, Cole H. Svenson and his wife Meaghin of Wall, New Jersey and Lexi Taylor Svenson of Union Beach. She is also survived by her two siblings, Rod Hansen of Keyport and Marci Elkovics and her husband John of Keyport, her niece, Paige Elkovics, and her dear father-in-law, Harry W. Svenson, Sr. and her cherished grandson, Kane Alexander Svenson. Lisa is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews and extended family members. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
Family and friends are invited to visit on Wednesday, July 5, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and Thursday morning, July 6, 2017 from 9:00 AM to 9:45 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Prayer Service will be held at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Entombment will follow at Holmdel Cemetery Mausoleum, 900 Holmdel Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
