Julia F. Butler

Julia F. Butler fondly known as "Sheila O'Sullivan-Butler" 84, formerly of Woodside, NY and Hazlet, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Bayside Manor in Keansburg, NJ. She was born Julia F. O'Sullivan on October 30,1932 to Patrick and Ellen Mary (Foley) O'Sullivan in Bansha, County Tipperary, Ireland. Sheila was a Retired Nursing Supervisor for Physician's Hospital and Astoria General Hospital in New York.  

     Sheila was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Andrew, her parents, Patrick and Ellen Mary (Foley) O'Sullivan, her sister, Breda McGlynn and her step-brother, Pat O'Sullivan. Sheila is survived by her daughters, Elaine O'Sullivan (John) of Hazlet, NJ, Barbara Boylan (Paddy) of Hazlet, NJ,  her brothers, Bobby O'Sullivan and Eoin O'Sullivan.  Sheila is also survived by her grandchildren Sheila (Stephen) Viti, John Boylan, Danny O'Sullivan, Patrick Boylan, Jr., and Barry O'Sullivan. She is also survived by many other extended family members in the US and in Ireland, who she loved very dearly. Sheila will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

     Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday, May 25, 2017 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM and 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM and Friday morning, May 26, 2017 from 8:30 AM to 9:00 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Friday morning, May 26, 2017 at 9:30 AM at Holy Family Church, 727 NJ-36, Union Beach, NJ 07735 .  Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery, 4902 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, NY 11377. For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
