Josephine Castronovo

    Josephine Castronovo, 82, of Sayreville, New Jersey, passed away at her residence on June 5, 2017.  She was born Josephine Gagliano, on August 9,1934. On October 15, 1960 Josephine and her husband Joseph were married and began their life together.  In 1966, they moved to Staten Island, New York, where they began to raise their family and in 1977, settled in Sayreville, New Jersey.  Josephine was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Castronovo.  Josephine is survived by her loving children, Francine Brunk and her husband, Robert, of Stewartsville, New Jersey, Anthony Castronovo and his wife, Victoria, of Jackson, New Jersey, Carmelo Castronovo of Tinton Falls, New Jersey, and Christina Henry and her husband, Mark, of Clarksburg, New Jersey.  She is also survived by her cherished grandchildren, Dominiquea Castronovo, Juliana Castronovo, Victoria Siclari, Giuseppe Castronovo, Pino Henry, Jennifer Brunk, Dominic Castronovo, Celina Henry, Brandon Castronovo, Isabella Castronovo and Joseph Castronovo, along with a host of adoring nieces and nephews. She will be sadly missed but never forgotten.  

   Family and friends are invited to visit on Thursday June 8, 2017 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10:30 AM on Friday, June 9, 2017 at St. Benedict Roman Catholic Church, 165 Bethany Road, Holmdel, New Jersey 07733.
