Joseph Peduto

          Joseph Peduto, 89, of Keyport, New Jersey, formerly of Jersey City, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, September 6, 2016 at Laurel Bay Health and Rehabilitation Center in Keansburg, New Jersey.  Joseph was born on March 22, 1927 in Jersey City, New Jersey, where he grew up and lived for the majority of his life.  He recently moved to Keyport, New Jersey.  He was predeceased by his parents, Amelia (Barratta) and Raphael Peduto, and his dear siblings, Pasquale Peduto, Lena Moscatello, Vincent Peduto, Emanuel Peduto, Edith Arcell, Rose Allen, John Peduto, and Angelo Peduto.  Joseph is survived by  his loving sister, Marie Reid of North Arlington, New Jersey, and many cherished nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.  He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

         Arrangements were entrusted to the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Route/Highway 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730.  In respect of Joseph's wishes, he will be privately cremated.  A Memorial Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at Holy Rosary Church in Jersey City, New Jersey, on Friday morning, September 16, 2016 at 10:00 AM.  Interment of Joseph's cremated remains will follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.  For information, directions, or to send condolences to the family, please visit, www.shorepointfh.com.
