Joseph Edward (Sr.) Matusewski

     Joseph Edward Matusewski Sr., 70, of Union Beach, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at home on April 7, 2017.  Joseph was born on December 4, 1946 in Newark, New Jersey, and grew up in South Amboy, New Jersey.  After marriage in 1973, Joseph and his wife, Mary-Ann, settled in Union Beach, New Jersey to raise their family.  Throughout his life, Joseph worked for PSEG as a Nuclear Engineer in Maplewood, New Jersey.  

     He was predeceased by his parents, Alexander and Jenny (Tritz) Matusewski, and his dear siblings, John Matusewski, Lois Brezinski, and Teddy Matusewski.  Joseph is survived by his beloved and devoted wife, Mary-Ann (Egri) Matusewski, his loving children, Joseph Edward Matusewski Jr. of Union Beach, New Jersey, and William Alexander Matusewski and his wife, Jessica Lyn, of Simi Valley, California, his dear sister-in-law, Patricia Egri Zanoni, and his cherished grandchildren, Francesca, Mark, Catharina, and Liam.  He will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.
