To all of John’s family , Annie and friends. I am so sorry to hear of John’s passing . Reconnecting through social media has been very nice . His smiling face will be missed . We havent physically seen each other since childhood but I have many good memories with all the Furlong gang. May God give you peace in your hearts and may John rest in peace

I am honored to have known you, Johnny. I met you through the marriage of your brother Mike to my sister Valerie. It was their marriage that brought our two families together. If I had to describe the Furlong family to someone for the first time, I would summarize: a fun and loving family who are proud of their Irish heritage. The fun comes from their vibrant interactions with one another, the twinkle in their eyes and their shared laughter. Their love is evident as a earnest compassion they have for one another and for their friends, a love that is respectful and amiable.
I will miss you and extend to your family and friends my deepest condolences.
Remembered Joy
I could not stay another day,
To love, to laugh, to work or play;
Tasks left undone must stay that way,
And if my parting has left a void,
Then fill it with remembered joy.

It was with great sadness and a heavy heart that we learned of John's passing. We had only met Johnny a couple of times but we always came away the better for having spent time with him. Actually the first time we got together was on a golf course in Florida with John's dad and brother Michael...what fun we all had!!!
We know the Furlong family will celebrate Johnny' life with great love and wonderful remembrance 's of the times they had together.
And as a family united in love they know that the road indeed rose up to meet John, that the wind was forever at his back, that the sun shone warmly on his face, that rains fell softly on his fields and until they can all meet again, God certainly held Johnny in the palm of his hand. With love and prayers, bill & jane
