Joan J Sickinger

 Joan J. Sickinger, 77, of Brick, New Jersey, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 17, 2017 at Ocean Medical Center in Brick, New Jersey.  She was born Joan J. Sickinger on November 4,1939 in Kearny, New Jersey to Julius and Angelina (Margaritonda) Sickinger. Joan was very involved in her community at Lions Head South in Brick, as well as the Girl Scouts. Her main love was spending time with her family. She is predeceased by her parents, Julius and Angelina Sickinger, her brother, Paul Sickinger. Joan is survived by her loving siblings, Julius Sickinger of California, Dolores Sickinger of Brick and Ruth Pearson and her husband, Howard of Hazlet, NJ, her nieces and nephews, Bonnie Mae Pearson Quigley, Debra Ann Pearson, Howard B. Pearson III, Kathleen Pearson, David Pearson, Ruth Ann Pearson McBee, Michael Pearson and John Sickinger and her adored dog, Angel. She is also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, family members and friends. Joan will be deeply missed, but never forgotten.

Family and friends are invited to visit on Tuesday morning, May 23, 2017 from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Inc., 3269 State Highway/Route 35 North, Hazlet, New Jersey 07730. Interment will follow at Hollywood Memorial Park, 1500 Stuyvesant Ave, Union, NJ 07083.
